Časopis 21. století
Hm, pravda. Nějak jsem ho vypustil a bude to tím, že jsem ho naposledy četl, když VTM znamenalo Věda a technika mládeži. :-)
VTM jednoznacne! Odebiral ho uz muj deda tusim od 1952. Po revoluci se chteli parkrat inovovat, ale IQ ctenaru klesalo s mnozstvim pribivajicich casopisu (napr.Anno, Zena a zivot, Stastny Jim, Story ...). Takze prodejnost sla prudce dolu, ( VTM a nyni VTM Science >:( {to je capina co? "Veda-Technika-My-Veda" --- to je blbost co!}). Jedine, co ho drzi je to (pokud dobre vim), ze autori clanku to delaji zdarma nebo skoro zadarmo, takze spis z nadseni!!! Takze prodej pokryva technicke naklady! Doufam, ze se odlepi od dna a vrati vsem tem nadsencum, to co casopisu dali!
Jinak kdysi se jeste prodaval casopis Technik (alias Téčko), nevim jestli jeste existuje (nikde jsem ho uz roky nevidel). Srovnatelny casak je jeste 100+1.

Ja se obaval,ze jsem se svym nazorem na 21. stoleti osamocen, huraa nejsem.
Clanky jsou zcela hovadske, jsou tam sice vyjimky (e.g. J.Petr, ktery uz leta pise do VTM), ale je jich malo. Podle mne je nejvetsi blb PhDr. Koukal, jeho clanky opravdu pripominaji zvratky. Je tam vsechno, ale tak nejak v divnych souvislostech. Proste pise o vsem, ale nicemu vlastne poradne nerozumi.
Za abslotne nejhorsi kousky povazuji clanky(informace)o antropologii (molekularni antropologii).Za nektere vety bych nechal celou redakci ....
Takoveto kecy, zhovadilosti, nesmysly a nepresne informace nejsou ani v bulvaru.Opravdu nevim, z ceho cerpaji.Asi to budou hodne stare stredoskolske ucebnice.
A z dopisu co uverejnuji je mi take na bliti.
[4] Zvracet se z 21. století může chtít jen tomu, kdo má pocit, že pouze on a jím prezentovaný pohled na realitu je ten správný. Neobhajuji tím odborně jakkoli nekorektní články a teze, pouze zdůrazňuji, že je dobré číst i záhadology, aby se vůbec poznání souvislosti mezi zemětřesením (nejen 26.12.04), konstelací planet před Jupiterem a sluneční aktivitou začalo brát vážně. souhlasim s reakcemi 1.2.3. mimo pochybneho 21. stoleti existuje mnohem lepsi serioznejsi a hlavne poctivejsi casopis tj . VTM science . Moje vzdelani mi neumoznuje urcit na kolik se podavane informace opiraji o realne vysledky vedeckeho vyzkumu ovsem , co pozna i laicky ctenar je jak rozdilne oba casopisy pracuji s fakty a informacemi , ktere ctenari nabizeji. Ve 21. stoleti se napriklad docteme Ze Albert Einstein byl podvodnik a zlodej myslenek(neumel pocitat atd) - docela silna kava alespon bych ocekaval uvedeni pramene, nic takoveho se nedeje - autor clanku to vystekne na papir jako jistotu , nikde zadny seriozni odstup . U kazdeho casopisu , ktery se holedba prizviskem popularne vedecky bych ocekaval vice uhlu pohledu , a urcitou pokoru , s moznosti vyvraceni sdelovane myslenky . Naproti tomu ve VTM take dochazi k obcasnym nepresnostem , ovsem sefredaktor a redakce vubec je nejpozdeji do dalsiho cisla , s omluvou uvedou na pravou miru .
No a na posled pro srovnani oba casopisy maji dvojlist, kde se venuji zdvidavym dotazum ctenaru
jak co funguje atd . Zatimco ve VTM jsou dotazy zajima ve a odpovědi vypovidaji o vysoke kompetenci autoru to co se deje na strankach 21. je proste katastrofa , naprosto smesne divadlo zinscenovane zrejme samotnou redakci , dotaz typu "jak je To s historii železnice v čr "a pod primo odkazuje k pramenum , nejake prumerne ucebnici dejepisu ze , ktere autor otazky i odpovedi opisuje .
Pro me je volba jasna VTM .
[7] Velmi děkuji za názor. Myslím, že bych měl konečně VTM vyzkoušet a poreferovat i o něm, ať mohu udělat reklamu něčemu kvalitnějšímu.
Abych se sam nedopoustel toho , co vytykam redakci 21.cky vystrachal jsem ono cislo 01/05 a musim dodatecne ubrat nohu z plynu , omlouvam se vsem priznivcum 21. potencialne i redakci za s voji reakci na clanek O Albertu Einsteinovi je neadekvátní a nezakládá se na presnych informacich , autor clanku se s tvrzenimi neztotoznuje , cituje knihu , na kterou odkazuje ...
Otázky odpovedi se tykaji historie zeleznice celosvetove ...
Ovsem tam jsem svůj nazor nemenil .
Jednoznacne ovsem plati , ze VTM je skutecne o stupinek vyse neinklinuje k senzacechtivemu bulvaru a autori clanku " setrneji , citliveji a kriticteji pracuji s informacemi .
Jinak se omolouvam , za moji nesetrnou a nepresnou praci s nepodlozenymi informacemi .

K mé lítosti můsím souhlasit. Přesto že v tomto časopise nacházím i spoustu zajímavostí, které zasluhují pozornost, jeho úroveň sráží některé "maličkosti", které autora usvědčují z naprosté neznalosti tématiky. Často mám pocit, že se jedná o špatně přeložený kompilát s tvůrčí invencí pseudovědce. To nic ale nemění na faktu, že některé články stojí za to číst. Jen ty odkazy jsou drobet mimo.

WM magazín, měsíčník, je také docela dobré čtení. Už jste si ho přečetli?
21.stoleti me ze zacatku natchlo! Byli tam clanky od pana Vlcka ... coz je ceska kapacita na antropologii (cetl jsem od nej knihu o ceskych panovnicich Karel IV, Premysl Otakar I a II, Jan Lucenbursky atd, a velice pekne popisuje podle jejich pozustatku jejich zivotni styl a co je vlastne v zivote potkalo za neprijemnosti [napr.jak mel Karel IV useknutou patu, jaci to byli rizci a ze vlastne vsichni trpeli dnou, pac zrali jenom maso].
Potom se ale jeho clanky vytratili.
Nyni je z 21.stoleti citit silnou komerci... .
Autori clanku nejsou znali kritickeho postoje!
Pokud si prectete nejaky specializovny casopis napr. pro metalurgii, org.chemii, nanotechnologii, psychologii .... atd. zalezi na oboru - jsou jich snad desetitisice (tyto casopisi odbebiraji napr. vysoke skoly), je vam hned jasne ze autor se snazi zabranit jakymkoliv pochybnostem a snazi se na vsechny mozne veci odkazovat na jine odborne clanky! (samozdrejme to by clanky laikum zneprehlednilo, ale snaha zabranit pochybnostem by neuskodilo!!!!!!!)
Omlouvam se za svoji czestin!!!
Chtěl bych se vás zeptat na názor ohledně WM Magazínu, jestli jste se s ním někdo setkali.
Já osobně jsem četl jen několik málo vydání a časopis na mně působil dojmem, že se snaží všechno vyvracet a do všeho rejpat. Ikdyž nekteré články se mi líbili (bohužel nemohu posoudit, jak moc byly informace důvěryhodné). Utkvěl mi v paměti zejména tento >> http://www.mwm.cz/clanek1.php?id=1213
(tenkrát jsem to četl ještě v tištěném časopisu).
[16] Co jsem se doslechl, tak WM Magazín nemá dobrou pověst. Takový konfrontační styl populárně vědeckého časopisu nutně vede k bulváru. Mnoha tvrzením z odkazovaného článku by se každý vědec vysmál. Na základě zkreslení pravdivých informací stavějí zajímavou "konspirační" teorii. Kdyby to dokázali, bylo by to jistě na Nobelovku, ale autor "-redakce-" asi nebude žádný odborník.
Já si myslim že chyby obsažené v tomto časopise jsou vinnou neschopnosti autorů, mám na něho předplatné, novinký z vědy tam píší, občas se tam nějaká chyba objeví a někdy mi to připomíná bulvár, ale i tak je populární.
Když by aoutoři zvíšily pozornost tak by to byl hodně užitečný časopis.
Je dost pravdepodobne ze tento komentar je uz zcela neaktualni.
Ale co se tyce chvaly na VTM, nemuzu se k ni pripojit. Pote co sem nasel jedno stare vydani v dedove supliku byl jsem nadsen. Dva roky sem casopis odebiral a byl skvely. Ale s prichodem 21.stoleti a jeho konkurencnim tlakem na ctivost vedouci k bulvarizaci se zvrhlo i VTM alespon co se tyce vyberu temat a a hloubky vykladu (stejny osuda jak treba ABC ale to je jina kategorie).
v soucasnosti se podle meho nazoru nehodi ani jeden z casopisu ani na nezavazne pocteni ve vlaku
(na coz ale vzdy po chvili zapomenu a strideve si tak kazdeho pul roku nektery do vlaku koupim :)
[19] Díky za informaci k VTM. Koupil jsem ho jednou asi před rokem. Bylo o něco lepší než 21. století, ale moc mě nepřesvědčilo, tak jsem ho ani do článku nedoplnil jako dobrou alternativu. Mám dvě čísla VTM z roku 1989 a opravdu není špatné.
Chtěl bych tady trochu ubrat rétoriky proti časopisu 21. století. Ne, že by se mi časopis líbil, ale spíš mě vadí Vaše velikáštví a totální zatracení.
Ja sam pracuju jako redaktor, takze vim, jak to kolem redakce chodi. Cely probirany casopis neni nic jineho, nez vybrakovany internet. To, co najdou napsane na netu, to prepisou. Nikdo z nich neni odbornikem. To nemuze byt. Ani nikdo z Vas neni odbornikem na vsechno a pritom nemusite psat clanky o vsem a uspokojit hromadu hnidopichu, kteri si mysli, ze maji patent na rozum.
Pokud chcete mit casopisy kvalitni, zkuste jim vypomoct a nabidnout jim spolupraci v urcitem vednim oboru. Dostanete sice minimalni penize, protoze uzivit casopis je obtizne, ale muzete mit dobry pocit. A garantuju vam, ze za rok budete mit problem, ze nemate o cem psat.
[21] Už to, že v podstatě jediným zdrojem informací pro časopis je internet, je špatně. Na tomto blogu píši zadarmo a většinu svých článků si dovolím hodnotit jako lepší než ty od v článku jmenovaných autorů, kteří za psaní pobírají honorář nebo jsou přímo v redakci. A já skutečně čerpám téměř výhradně z internetu. Je však nutné mít alespoň základní přehled o oblasti, o které se píše. Nemyslím si, že bych měl úzký záběr.
Být placeným redaktorem, tak denně mám na drátě mediální kontakty vědců po celém světě, natáčím rozhovory, osobně nebo telefonicky zjišťuji detaily a nepřepisuji tiskové zprávy bez jakékoliv konfrontace s kritickými názory.
Téměř každému, kdo je schopen psát kvalitní články, je časopis, ve kterém by článek měl být publikován ukradený. Proč by se měl snažit pro nic a za minimální peníze zvyšovat kvalitu komerčního produktu. To, že odborné příspěvky od čtenářů by dobrovolně měly zvyšovat kvalitu je myšlenka mezi vydavateli a šéfredaktory časopisů všech odborností velmi populární, ale je naivní a zcestná. Vydavatel chce prodávat, tak se musí snažit. Čtenář, který "svůj" časopis autorsky podporuje za mizerný honorář je buď hloupý, nebo velmi zapálený pro věc a v každém případě je redakcí zneužívaný.
Jestli si myslíte, že za rok v oboru vědy a techniky není o čem psát, tak máte na věc velmi omezený pohled. Neříkám, že by to bylo jednoduché, ale i v úzkém oboru lze mnoho let plnit rubriku popisem základů, novinek, rozhovorů s vědci, návštěvami v laboratořích, sci-fi vyhlídkami na budoucí uplatnění a mnohým dalším.
No sice jsem pouze laik, mozna prave proto se mi casopis 21.stoleti velmi libi, nejsem totiz z tech kteri by se v technice, astronomii, chemii apod, vylozene vyzivali.Ne vsichni ctenari totiz rozumi slozitym a az prilis odbornym clankum publikovanym v jinych vedeckych casopisech.Ve 21.stoleti je podle meho nazoru vse vysvetlovano stravitelnou formou srozumitelnou i pro laiky. Musite uznat ze pokud by byla pouzivana prilis vysoka odbornost velka cast ctenaru by se odvratila a na trhu zas tak moc podobnych casopisu neni.Ja osobne jsem studentka a informace z 21.stoleti velmi casto vyuzivam jak ve skole tak i v beznem zivote.Pokud se vam tento casopis nelibi a pripada vam ze je pod mnohem nizsi urovni nez jste vy sami tak si kupte nejaky jiny casopis ktery vam mozna bude vyhovovat......
[23] Tady bohužel nejde o úroveň výkladu. Nevšimnul jsem si, že by někdo kritizoval formu. Jde především o obsah. A když jsou v 21. století vyložené bláboly, tak to nejde nechat bez odezvy. Autoři často vůbec neví, o čem píší, a šíří tak nesmysly.
Zajímalo by mě, jaké informace z 21. století na jaké škole úspěšně používáš.
Uplne souhlasim ze informace z 21 stoleti sou skreslene nebo smyslene. Jednou sem ho cetl a uplne mi to stacilo.
Prvne jsem si porizoval American Scientific. Pak prislo 21. stoleti. Dle meho nazoru ma prvni jmenovane vyssi uroven. VTM neznam, nemuzu posoudit.
Ja ctu 100+1.... na to ste uz zapomneli???
Pozor na české vydání Scientific American! Zřejmě je to podvod na předplatitele. Objednal jsem si celoroční předplatné a dodnes mám jen lednové číslo a oči pro pláč. Vydavatel nekomunikuje a jak lze najít na webu, dělá to už od počátku století. Takže doporučuji VTM Science, tam vás aspoň nepodvedou a na rozdíl od 21. století je to celkem seriozní.
Myslím, že poměrně málo známý časopis 100+1 zz je na velmi vysoké úrovni co se článků týče a rozhodně je srovnatelný s VTM, podle mne jsou ve 100+1 články o něco zajímavější. Jsou z různých oborů, myslím, že 21. století se 100+1 zaměřením velmi podobá (včetně podobného loga - bílá 21. na červeném podkladu :) ), akorát úrověň se nedá moc srovnávat...jednoznačně mi 100+1 připadá kvalitnější. Cena je taky přiměřená, myslím, že 28Kč dnes není přehnané. Jen škoda, že dnes mnoho lidí 100+1 vůbec nezná.
Časopis 21. století nehodnotím, ale aspoň přidává nové články, což se o Techblogu říct nedá. Tady jsem nic nového neviděl pěkně dlouho.
No nevím, 100+1 jsem pravidelně odebíral a odradily mně naprosto nepřesné překlady. Pokud si někdo v jasných souvislotech plete miliardu, milion a bilion, tak se má někoho zeptat. K 21.století mohu uvést, že v článcích z oborů, kterým snad trochu rozumím( astronomie a pohonné jednotky), jsem závažné chyby nenašel.
no, něktéré příspěvky celkem husté:)), je fakt že v tom časopise, četl jsem ho zatím jednou takže nemůžu moc hodnotit, myslím 21.století, je moc od všeho, trochu nepřehledný ale čtu ho poprvé, a nejsem moc odborník..ale líbí se mi některé články a dokážu si vybrat co mě zajímá, nečtu všechno....asi tak, 100+1 su pujčuju v knihovně..až budu mít poznatky nebo najdu chybu ozvu se!!!...
a ještě něco..docela v poho je číst diskuze na 21.stoleti.cz...ne jak tady...tam se člověk něco dozvíí!!!:) zdravím
A co si takhle zaplatit clenstvi v IEEE. Budete pak dostavat casopis, ktery vas odbornosti primo dorazi. Bohuzel nepokryje asi vsechny temata. Naopak, pokryje jich dost malo, ale zato hutne.
Podle mého názoru není až tak důležité „jak staré“ jsou informace, z čehož pak plynou ony „hluboké pravdy“ v obsahu článku, „vědeckost či blábolovitost“ v textu. I bez pana „kritika-boha-hodnotitele“ KERIMA, co si přijde do 21.století plivnout, se mění dnes rychlost poznání ve vědě sama dost rychle, že co platilo před deseti lety dnes neplatí. Proč tety spílat populárnímu časopisu, že v článcích „blábolí nesmysly“…dnes ? Co bylo pravdu před 10-20 lety je i ve vědě nesmyslem. Pak i v tom článku v časopisu 21.století. Kde bere takový kritik „nejčerstvější pravdu Pravdy“, aby mohl sám vyslovit „soud-odsouzení“, že 21.století v „tom-a-v tom“ článku blábolí ? Takový kritik by musel znát opravdu super-čerstvou informaci … a i ta možná není „pravdivá“ – a jak to ví kritik KERIMA, že superčerstvá světová informace kterou“někde“ polapil pravdivá je ?, anebo že se na ní nezmění světový názor za pár let. ? Články v časopise týkající se vědy, není až tak nutné precizovat do podoby „totální“ pravdy, v čase = teď, jen proto, že sem přijde naivní a hloupý „vulgární kritik“ co honem přispěchá říci : blábolíte ; za 2 roky že už neblábolíte, ; za 5 let a už blábolíte a za 10 let no blábolíte částečně…Myslím, že ten „kritik“ je hloupý vševěd.A myslím, že časopis populární, co si vzal za úkol informovat o vědě, co se v ní děje, má především ten význam a smysl, že vůbec ukazuje trendy vědy, trendy myšlení vědců v rozmanitých oborech a trendy ukazovat podněty k dalšímu zamýšlení se nad přírodou, i odborníka i laika, a né striktně podávat „pouze pravdu neblábolovou“…Ne, časopis tu není pro to, aby psal „totální pravdu“ pro pana „šťourala“, který bude chodit a pouze vulgárně hanobit „bulvárnost obsahu“, potažmo redaktory.
Vazeni, podle me je tato diskuze zbytecna. Kdo ma rad 21. stoleti, tak si ho kupuje. Tzn. ze ho ma "rado" mnohem vic lidi...
Vite, zcela opomijite jeden fakt. Clanky o teto tematice nemuzou byt proste idealni, jak uz tu nekdo psal, nejsou vsichni tak genialni (tedy krome vas).
Jednou jsem si koupil VTM, rok zpet.
Muzu vam to klidne i dokazat, ale gramaticke chyby v casopisech opravdu nesnesu, pac jsem student Pedaku. Takze asi tak.

Napsala redaktorka Petra Soukupová : Kristova noho, běžte už s tím uraženým egem někam do hajzlu. Jistě jste si všiml, že jsem kromě vaší obranné reakce proti urážení smazala i ten první příspěvek. Že tu jsou ponechány některé příspěvky už rok, co hanobí důstojnost člověka, které tu nemaji co dělat ( jako ten Hitler a vytrčený vocas), není v důsledku mojí amorální zvůle, ale nedokonalostí redakčního systému. K některým starším příspěvkům se prostě nedostanu…a tak ať tam ten Hiler a jiné fotomontáže se stojícím pérem jsou, no. A všimnete si prosim, že tu jsou demokraticky ponechány a nemazány i Vaše obranné příspěvky psané vaší klávesnicí. Takže než si zase ve vašem geniálnim mozku vyplodíte nějakou konspirační teorii o údajných pomlouvačích co Vás už rok zde na fórů údajně napadají, raději jej zkuste používat alespoň trochu logicky.
A můžu vás ujistit, že nejsem správcem systému, kdybych byla správcem systému, zavedu tu minimálně dočasně na věčné časy zákazy přístupu pro některé uživatele, jako Vy, kteří si diskuzi o časopisu a věde pletou s pískoviťěm, kde si malé rozmazlené děti nadávaji za to, kdo má kým vic pošlapaných báboviček, víc poflusaný ksich urážkami, nechutnostmi a nepřestává s tím protivným oplácením. VTM jsem si pravidelne kupoval cca 3 roky a bylo opravdu skvělé...myslím, že se zpotvořilo současně s tím, jak dostalo kvalitnější papír a tužší obálku...co sem si bohužel jedno koupil, tak teď je napchané nejnovějšíma mobilama atd. 21. století jsem párkrát taky četl (rozdávává se někdy na různých vědeckopopularizačních akcích pořádaných třeba Akademií věd Čr...taky dost smutné).
Co sem párkrát četl Scientific American, tak ten mi připadal dost dobrý...ale tipuju že bude dražší.
V každém případě 21.stoeltí svoji niku má (stejně jako ji má Blesk a i když mi takovýhle bulvár připadá šilený, tak chápu že hodně lidí si ho kupuje jako relaxaci). Takže se najdou i lidi, kteří kupují 21. století a rozhodně si nemyslím, že by to byli blbci...pro někoho může být scientific american už moc odborný (i když hlavní problém je, že ho asi skoro nikdo nezná a taky dost velké problémy, které byly a nejspíš pořád sou s českým distributorem)..21.století má taky plno obrázků;)
Jediné co mi fakt vadí je, že 21. století o sobě prohlašuje, jak je vědecké, poučné atd...takže lidi (jako já) ho koupí nebo jim ho někdo koupí (a je to ztráta peněz), nebo rodiče to kupují svojim dětem (a děti nemají moc na výběr). Nad to, že "Blesk doplňuje vzdělání a přínáší info, které všechny ostatní média nemají odvahu zveřejnit" se povznesu:), ale obdobná lež u 21. století mi vadí.
Je to pravda ten článek. Někdy si říkám, �e jde o takový Blesk mezi \"vědeckými\" časopisy. Naprosto lákavý nadpis ve smyslu \"vědci vyrobí lidské oko\" a podobně. Dále se dočítám, �e pouze jakýsi americký odborník předpovídá budoucnost a vysvětluje známé věci, které nemají úroveň. Jen občas za čas tam mělo něco úroveň. Samozřejmě nerozumím v�emu, ale články k tématům o kterých něco vím mě velmi zklamaly.
21.století byl svého času zajímavý časopis, do kterého jsem měl možnost též přispívat. Postupem času se z něj stal obrázkový časopis s množstvím balastu, jež často nesměřuje k podstatě věci. Proto jsem přesedlal na wm magazin
